Representative Schuette kicking off “Ask Bill G.” events for 2026
RELEASE|January 21, 2026

State Representative Bill G. Schuette is continuing his commitment to meeting with residents in Midland, Gladwin and Bay counties and answering their questions in the new year with new “Ask Bill G.” events.

“We’re starting off 2026 in the Legislature by cutting more red tape to save Michigan workers and families money and making state government more transparent to the people it serves,” Schuette said. “I’m excited to share updates on these important issues while talking with people about their priorities and answering any questions they may have. I invite anyone who is interested to attend.”

Schuette has announced a Facebook Live Townhall on Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 5:05 p.m. through his official state Facebook page at www.facebook.com/StateRepSchuette. Questions can be submitted to [email protected] prior to the event.

David Chhum, who serves as legislative director for Representative Schuette, will also be available to talk with constituents in-person at a pair of office hours on Thursday, Jan. 29 at the following times and locations:

  • 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Midland Business Alliance, located at 300 Rodd Street in Midland.
  • 3-4 p.m. at the Beaverton Activity Center, located at 106 Tonkin Street in Beaverton.

Those who are interested in attending the staff office hours events can RSVP with Chhum at [email protected]. Anyone unable to attend this month’s “Ask Bill G.” event or either of the staff office hours are invited to contact the Office of Representative Schuette by calling (517) 373-0152 or emailing [email protected].
